Picture curtesy of Eric H.A few days ago, Eunice read the papers and informed me that there would be a lunar eclipse on Feb 9th, 2009 at 10.28pm. As I have missed the solar eclipse in January 2009, despite having a friend who kept reminding me about it, I didn't think that I would remember this at all.
Yesterday, at about 10.30pm, I was outside my mum's house seeing a few friends off. Suddenly I remembered the lunar eclipse. I looked up and there was the brightly lit moon. I strained my eyes to see if I could see anything odd about the moon. I gave up after a while. The eclipse was so minimal that I couldn't see much difference from where I was.
