Like I said in one of my earlier posts, we didn't have a dinner reunion with Rajen's side of the family on Christmas eve. Instead, we had it on December 29th, 2008.
We went to the farm. Had dinner and opened presents. It was like Christmas eve all over again.
The only difference is that Uncle Raju was not around this time. A bitter sweet reunion for all of us.
When he was around, he'd normally lead us in worship, Bible reading and prayer. He didn't really care who was there and who was not. He'd start singing, his deep voice loud enough to fill the entire house. Slowly, but surely, everyone would gather in the living room and start singing along with him.
This time, Dason led us in a few hymns and George said a prayer for all of us.
